terms of use

The terms of use of heygenie.

What the helpdesk is, what a key is, what a case costs, what is promised and what is not, and which law applies. Short on purpose. Where a word here and a governing document differ, the document wins.

  1. Who provides heygenie, and what these terms cover

heygenie is provided by Interop FZCA, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Taifoon", "we"). Company and registration details are provided to counterparties on request. [registered address and registration number]

These terms apply to heygenie.online, the studio, the admin dashboard, the embed, the @taifoon/sma-helpdesk package where it talks to our service, and the doors of the Taifoon coordination layer that a heygenie key opens (together, "the service").

The service is for products, their teams and their agents (the "tenant"). A person who asks a question through a product's helpdesk is a user of that product; the product's own terms apply to them, and sections 3, 4 and 5 apply to every question asked.

A key is a metered account of the coordination layer, so the Taifoon Access Terms govern the key, its scopes, balances and plans. The software is licensed under the Taifoon Sustainable Use License. Where an individual agreement has been concluded with a tenant, such as the Taifoon Enterprise License, its provisions take precedence over these terms. A tenant's own terms apply only if we expressly agree to them.

  2. The service

heygenie is a helpdesk any product installs. Answers come from the product's own knowledge graph. A judge grades an answer before anyone pays. The trail of a case is sealed to the tenant. The layer counts cases, grades and money per tenant and never reads sealed content.

The genie's conversational answers are produced by a language model run on Cloudflare Workers AI from the knowledge sent with each turn. The model phrases; the core decides. The model's words are not the graph's until a grade stands. An answer that is rejected is not charged and does not enter the graph.

Answers and grades rest on the knowledge the tenant has put in its graph. A particular outcome of an answer is not owed unless expressly agreed. Features marked as pilot, preview, built or coming are provided without guaranteed availability and may be changed or discontinued.

  3. Not advice

Answers are not professional, legal, financial or medical advice. The genie says what a product's graph holds, in a model's words, and says plainly when the graph holds nothing for a question. A product's team decides what enters its graph.

Nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, token or other financial instrument, and nothing here is investment, legal or tax advice. An answer is only as good as your check of it: verify it before relying on it.

  4. Keys

A key (tfr_…) is your credential. It is one metered account: its scopes say what it may call, its balance or plan what it may spend. A key is shown once, kept as a hash, read back by nobody. If you lose it, you mint a new one.

This site keeps a key only in the browser tab you typed it into. It is gone when the tab closes. A key never signs: a payment is a transfer your wallet sends and signs.

You protect your key. Only authorised people hold it, mint child keys under it, confirm grades and read the trail. Child keys you mint for your users are capped and revocable by you; revoking a child key ends that user's access. A compromised key is rotated at once and reported to us.

  5. What must never be typed into a question

Secrets, seed phrases, private keys, passwords and wallet addresses must never be typed into a question. The genie never asks for them. An answer that asks for a key, a password, a seed phrase or an address is rejected by the judge and is not charged.

If you type a secret into a question anyway, it has left your control. Rotate it.

  6. Prices and payment

    Prices on 2026-10-23, in USDC:

    • 0.10 per graded, solved case. Charged only when the grade stands. A rejected answer is not charged. Answers the graph already holds are free.
    • 20 free cases a day per key. The free allowance exists for a tenant's own keys and never for a resold child key.
    • 20 per tenant-month for a seat: the directory, the sealed trail, the weakest-link queue, the tuning.
    • 50 per specialist hour. The specialist keeps 80 %.
    • Experts a product nominates are paid 70 % of a case.

Nobody pays before the grade stands. Every billed unit carries a key and produces a meter line whose legs include the ecosystem cut. Billing is deferred while the balance or plan covers the case; a captured line is final; there is no refund of a captured line. Prices are the published catalogue's, changed with thirty days' notice.

A payment is a transfer your wallet sends and signs; you carry the risk of what you sign. A payout to a specialist or an expert is signed by the Taifoon vault key under its policy, from the same line that charged the case. The grade and the meter line are the record of a case; a dispute about a line goes to builders@taifoon.io with the case id.

  7. Graphs, content and rights

A public graph is open under CC BY 4.0. A tenant's graph stays the tenant's. The tenant's data remains the tenant's data. Sealed nodes never leave the tenant.

For the duration of use, a tenant receives a simple, non-transferable right to use the service for its own purposes. All rights in heygenie, the software and the content of the service remain with Taifoon, subject to the licence above. To run the service we may process a tenant's graph, cases and grades as the service needs: to answer, to grade, to count, to train the tenant's own agent on its own graph, and to keep the ledger.

The tenant is responsible for being permitted to put the content of its graph into the service, and for informing its own users where required.

  8. Acceptable use

No unlawful use. No targeting of a private individual. No stripping of the key or the meter line from a call, and no bypassing of the meter. No interference that impairs the operation or security of the service, and no attempt to read another tenant's sealed content.

A tenant uses the service only in accordance with applicable law and its own licences. Wallets and tenants are screened; a tenant that resells access screens its customers to the level its grant names and binds them to terms at least as protective as these, staying primarily liable for them.

A tenant reports security incidents or misuse it becomes aware of promptly to builders@taifoon.io. We may suspend or revoke a key that breaks this section.

  9. Availability

We strive for operation that is as uninterrupted as possible. A specific availability is owed only if agreed in an individual agreement. Where possible, we carry out maintenance outside usual business hours.

The service depends on third-party services, in particular Cloudflare (hosting and the model) and the public chains on which payments settle; we are not responsible for their outages. Doors that are not yet live are marked as such on the site.

  10. What is promised, and liability

The site, the service and the package are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. What is promised is the predicate of a route: the call is metered, a grade stands before a charge, the receipt is on the stream. Nothing else.

Our liability under these terms is capped at the fees the tenant paid in the month in which the claim arose. For free and pilot features, we are liable only for intent, gross negligence and fraudulently concealed defects. Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that cannot be excluded by law.

  11. Changes

We may change these terms with effect for the future where this is reasonable for the tenant. Material changes are announced in text form at least four weeks before they take effect; a tenant that does not object within this period accepts them, and the notice says so. Price changes carry thirty days' notice. Changes are posted on this page with a new date.

  12. Law, venue and final provisions

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai; the competent courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.

Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. These terms are written in English; the English text is authoritative.

A question about a document goes to builders@taifoon.io. Anything else: info@taifoon.io. How we handle data is on the privacy page.
